I am filling in this form as my husband's carer having just received a diagnosis of dementia for him. I am an intelligent person who can handle doing things on line etc, but I feel I have been left on my own with everything and don't know where I'm going with all this. I thought I would at least be offered the opportunity to talk things over and get some guidance about what to do next, and particularly how to handle difficulties with my husband.

Recognised it was difficult for my father to chat on the phone - provided a home visit to enable him to make a better informed decision about joining group support. Provided really useful information for myself and invited me to join carers session which I found extremely informative and useful. Thank you.
